Orange Shirt Day is the day to honour and commemorate the Indigenous children and families who were subject to the residential school system. The day gets its name from the testimony of residential school survivor Phyllis Webstad, who tells the story of her first day at school as a six-year-old, when the brand new orange shirt her grandmother had purchased was taken from her.

Proceeds from sales of this shirt go to Indigenous cultural programming at Sunshine House.
